Rather than functioning as a commemorative retrospective, "Vanadzor 200" unfolds as an open cultural platform where every artwork becomes part of a larger narrative. Here, classical artistic thinking meets contemporary experimentation, while the works of diverse artists complement one another to create a comprehensive portrait of the city's creative potential.
The exhibition has been organized through the collaboration of the Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts and the Yerevan Museum of Modern Art, with the support of the Vanadzor Municipality. This partnership stands as an important example of cooperation between regional and capital-based cultural institutions, aimed not only at presenting artistic heritage but also at reinterpreting it within a contemporary context.
Curated by Tigran Tadevosyan, the exhibition has been conceived in a way that preserves the individuality of each participating artist while shaping a unified artistic narrative.
