Armenia has been a member of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) since 2004 and has been a full member of the OIF since 2012. The Museum of Modern Art hosts exhibitions every spring in March-April, accompanied by various events related to France, its language and culture. This year, within the framework of Francophonie, the Museum of Modern Art will present Gevorg J. Kassabyan's solo exhibition entitled "Carpet, Dragon, Mushroom". The opening of the exhibition will take place this year. on March 27, at 17:00.

Gevorg George Kassabyan's project "Carpet, Dragon, Mushroom" explores the principle of invisible interconnectedness operating in nature. Fungi are represented as surface manifestations of the underground mycelium network that ensures the exchange of food and information between trees and vegetation. In this way, the work emphasizes that the sustainability of ecosystems is based on cooperation and mutual support. The mushroom is also a symbol of rebirth, as it grows from decay and transforms from dead matter into new life. The sculptures combine fragility and inner strength, expressing the continuity of vital processes. In the exhibition, the motif of mushrooms is presented in dialogue with the images of colorful dragons. Dragons symbolize elemental energy, movement and the dynamic power of transformation. If mushrooms embody the silent, horizontally spreading vital intelligence, then dragons represent the expression of the same force in a vertical, active and visible form. Both figures act as boundary symbols, uniting the material and the mythical. With this combination, Kassabyan represents the unified flow of life, showing that the natural and symbolic worlds are complementary expressions of the same energy.
