Ruben Babayan and Ruzanna Khalatya Emotions, silence and time On April 22, at 18:00, we invite you to the Museum of Modern Art to attend the opening of the exhibition "Emotions, Silence and Time" by Ruben Babayan and Ruzanna Khalatyan. Ruben Babayan and Ruzanna Khalatya, two creative individuals whose joint life and art spans more than four decades.
Presenting within the framework of one exhibition, the artists merge, unite painting and tapestry in an internal flow, expressing the thoughts matured in the time, seen, felt and silence.
In this exhibition, two different, but internally related approaches meet. In Ruben Babayan's paintings, light and shadow become not only a visual medium, but a way of thinking, revealing the inner world of man, his inner tension and his dialogue with time. The same inner movement, with a different materiality and technical language, continues in Ruzanna Khalatyan's tapestries, where the color acquires a tangible volume, and the fabric becomes a layering of time. Man, with his inner duality, emotions, waiting and memory, is one of the key themes of their art. Sometimes that person appears in a clear image, sometimes it turns into a color, structure or rhythm. Light and color, form and material become different expressions of the same story. The exhibition "Emotions, silence and time" is not only a combination of the works of two artists, but also a testimony of a long life together, where art has become a form of communication, a space for thinking and a carrier of memory.
