Yerevan Museum of Modern Art and Anton Levakhin present for the first time.
The solo exhibition of contemporary painter Akhsar Muriyev entitled MANIFIQUE VOYAGE, ou l'HISTOIRE D'UN HOMME (translated from French: "Magnificent Voyage, or the Story of One Man").
The exhibition tells about the creative path of the lyrical hero, which is reflected in the paintings.
It reveals the author's perspective on his own travels through his personal stories. The French language builds relationships between the works of Akhsar Muriev and the reflections of Marcel Proust and the characters of his magnum opus In Search of Lost Time, emphasizing the philosophical content and nostalgic intonation of the exhibition.
The double title emphasizes the dualistic context of the exhibition, it tells "the story of one person" who becomes the viewer himself. The exhibition will present works created by Akhsar Muriev in 2023-2024, including such paintings and large-scale triptychs as "Magnificent Journey", "Sun Dance", "Family Portrait in the Interior" and "Dynamic Composition in Three Parts". In the exhibition space, these works are united in a vivid whole, their images and meanings enter into a colorful dialogue, together creating one exciting composition.
