Alexey Papovyan

Alexey Papovyan (1941-2023) In 1941 - was born in Baku.   In 1971 - graduated from Yerevan Art and Theater Institute.   Since 1972, a permanent participant of republican, all-union and international exhibitions, symposia and biennials (Armenia, Russia, Germany, France, Sudan, Baltic countries, Hungary, Nagorno Karabakh, etc.).   In 1973 - He was awarded a bronze medal at the All-Union Exhibition "Sculpture and Colors" (Moscow).  Member of Union of Artists of Armenia and USSR since 1974.    In 1986 - He was awarded a diploma at the international symposium held in Zintaria (Latvia).    Individual exhibitions.  In 1980 - Institute of Physics (Yerevan)   In 1991 - "Yanc" club (Paris)  In 1996 - Union of Artists of Armenia (Yerevan)   In 1996 - Embassy of Armenia (Paris)   In 1999 - "Art Present" gallery (Paris)   2000 – Arts Center (Ulm, Germany)   in 2002 – A.L.B.A. (Paris)     The works are in the Museum of Modern Art (Yerevan), National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan), Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts (Armenia), Valois Gallery (Paris), State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), Yerevan, Riga, Moscow, Paris, Budapest and other private collections.
